Riders
How do I book a ride?
Download the iTAXI app, enter your destination and confirm. A driver accepts and you follow their arrival on the map.
How is the price calculated?
Only by distance (km) and duration (minutes). The price is the same day and night — iTAXI never applies surge pricing.
Does the price go up at night or at rush hour?
No. Same trip, same price, at 8 am or at midnight. No surge, ever.
Can I book a private car or a taxi?
Both. iTAXI brings private cars and taxis together in the same app. It’s the first app to include taxis.
How can I pay?
In cash or with your iTAXI wallet.
Which cities is iTAXI available in?
Constantine, Algiers, Blida and Boumerdès. Sétif is coming soon.
I left something in the vehicle. What should I do?
Contact our team with the date, time and city of the ride. We’ll put you in touch with the driver.
How do I reach support?
By phone on 0982 30 13 57, every day from 9 am to 9 pm, for riders and drivers alike. WhatsApp support opens from the iTAXI app: Contact us → Contact support.
Drivers
How much does iTAXI PRO cost?
A fixed monthly subscription, with no commission on your rides.
What documents do I need?
Your driving licence (front and back), the vehicle registration, a profile photo and two photos of the vehicle, front and side. If the vehicle isn’t in your name, add a power of attorney.
How long until I’m activated?
4 days at most after you send a complete application. We’ll call you as soon as your account is ready.
Can I apply in several goes?
Yes. What you enter and the documents you upload stay saved on your device — pick up whenever you like.
Can I sign up in the app or on WhatsApp?
No. Sign-up happens on this site only, so your documents stay protected. Give the number you’ll sign in to iTAXI PRO with: it’s what links your application to your account.
I’m in Sétif. Can I sign up?
Yes, driver registrations are open in Sétif. You’ll be among the first activated at launch.
Are my documents protected?
They’re encrypted, seen only by the verification team, and deleted 7 days after a rejection.
Do I need to be a taxi driver?
No. iTAXI PRO welcomes private-car drivers as well as taxis.
